Why Cloud Storage
Cloud storage gives you elastic storage (you can increase your storage size) at a cost-effective price to keep your data more secure. Impact Designer provides you with the option of using the Amazon S3 storage service to store asset files.
Included asset files are clipart, user images, order print files, fonts, graphic fonts, etc.
How to Enable Amazon S3 Storage for Impact Designer Assets
To enable Amazon S3, you need to have the following credentials:
- AWS S3 Access Key
- AWS S3 Secret Key
- AWS S3 Region
Step 1: Log in to Impact Designer Admin.
Step 2: On the navigation bar, go to Global Settings > Integration and click on the “Set Up” button shown on the AWS S3 – Cloud Storage image box.
Step 3: Click on the “Enable AWS S3” checkbox. After clicking, a form will appear to enter the credentials listed above. Fill them in and click on the “Save” button.
► Now you have successfully enabled AWS S3 Storage for the designer studio. On the server, order files, user images, and other assets will be stored in the given S3 bucket and fetched or utilized as needed.
