What Is a Print Profile and How Does It Work

Print Profile refers to a printing method that you can set up for any specific product category or set of product categories with customized settings. Configure various kinds of settings starting from colors, pricing, orders, and many more. Enable or disable the features based on how you print and how you want to charge your customers for customization. The custom setting option in Impact Designer Admin allows you to easily set engraving options, price options for clipart, fonts, decoration areas with a quantity tier, and a lot more.

When you create a print profile in Impact Designer Admin, you can configure the following:

  1. Enable/disable the features.
  2. Enable the formats for the image to be uploaded specifically to the print profile.
  3. Apply different types of color settings, such as fill color, border color, etc., to your print profile.
  4. Configure properties for the printable order files to be generated for the printing technique used.
  5. Apply various types of price settings, for example, setup cost, decoration cost, clipart price, font price, the price for artwork proofing, printable color price, the price per letter, etc., to your print profile.

The settings configured for a specific print profile will appear in the designer tool when your customer selects it.
