Example:
How will the tool calculate the cost based on the price configuration?

► The price for printable colors will only be calculated when the user changes the design colors from the printable colors.

Order Range = 1- 150
Total print area = 2

Hypothetical Question 1:
For an order placed for 85 T-shirts priced at $19 each, with one side customized. On the first side of the product, one clipart is added, which has two colors. So, what will be the final price of the product?

Answer:
Order Quantity = 85
Number of customized sides = 1
Total number of printable colors = 2
Price of first printable color = $5
Price of second printable color = $6

Printable Color Price = Price of first printable color + Price of second printable color
= $5 + $6
= $11

As the printable color is added on the first side, it will take the price from the 1st Print area tab.

Then, the quantity of products is 85, so it will take the percentage value from the quantity range 51-100. i.e., 30%

Now, the percentage that we get from the quantity range will be calculated over the printable color price.

Then, Quantity Tier Price = (Printable Color Price) – (30% x Printable Color Price)
= $11 – (30% x $11)
= $11 – $3.30
= $7.70

Now, Decoration price = Quantity Tier Price x Order Quantity
= $7.70 x 85
= $654.50

The price will be shown to the customer:
Product Price + Decoration Price
= ($19 x Order Quantity) +  $654.50
= ($19 x 85) + $654.50
= $1615 + $654.50
= $2269.50

So, the final price of the product will be $2269.50

Hypothetical Question 2:
For an order placed for 130 T-shirts priced at $19 each, with both sides of the product customized. On the first side of the product, one clipart is added, which has two colors, and on the second side, one text is added, which has only one color. So what will be the final price of the product?

Answer:
Order Quantity = 130
Number of customized sides =2
Total number of printable colors = 3
Price of first printable color = $3.50
Price for second printable color = $2
Price for third printable color = $1.50

► For the printable colors that are added on the first side, the calculation will be done from the tab 1st Print area, and for the printable colors that are added on the second side, the calculation will be from the tab 2nd Print area.

Calculation for 1st Print Area
First, we will calculate the price of the printable colors that are added to the first side

Printable Color Price for first side =  Price of first printable color + Price for second printable color
= $3.50 + $2
= $5.50

As the printable colors are added on the first side so the calculation will be done from the 1st Print area tab.

The quantity of product is 130, so it will take the percentage value from the quantity range 101-150. i.e., 40%

Now, the percentage value that we get from the quantity range will be calculated over the printable color price.
Quantity Tier Price for 1st Print area
= (Printable Color Price for first side) – (40% x Printable Color Price for first side)
=$5.50 – (40% x $5.50)
= $5.50 – $2.20
= $3.30

Calculation for 2nd Print area
On the second side of the product, only one color is used.
So, the Printable Color Price for the second side  = $1.50

As the printable colors are added on the second side, it will take the price from the 2nd Print area tab.

The quantity of product is 130, so it will take the percentage value from the quantity range 101-150. i.e., 50%

Now, the percentage that we get from the quantity range will be calculated over the printable color price.
Quantity Tier Price for 2nd print area
= (Printable Color Price for second side) – (50% x Printable Color Price for second side)
=$1.50 – (50% x $1.50)
= $1.50 – $0.75
= $0.75

Now, we will add both the Quantity Tier Price, which we get from the 1st Print area, and the 2nd Print area

So, Quantity Tier Price = 1st Print Area + 2nd Print area
= $3.30 + $0.75
=$4.05

Decoration price = Quantity Tier Price x Order Quantity
= $4.05 x 130
= $526.50

The price will be shown to the customer:
Product Price + Decoration Price
= ($19 x Order Quantity) +  $526.50
= ($19 x 130) + $526.50
= $2470 + $526.50
= $2996.50

So, the final price of the product will be $2996.50
