Example:
How will the tool calculate the cost based on the price configuration?

Order Range = 1- 120
Total print area = 2
Hypothetical Question 1:
For an order placed for 75 T-shirts priced at $19 each, with one side customized. On the first side, a background is added. So, what will be the final price of the product?
Answer:
Order Quantity = 75
Number of customized sides = 1
Total number of backgrounds added = 1
Price of the background = $4
As one background is added on the first side. So Background Price will be = $4
And, the background that is added on the first side will take the price from the 1st Print area tab.
Then, the quantity of products is 75, so it will take the percentage from the quantity range 41-80. i.e., 35%
Now, the percentage that we get from the quantity range will be calculated over the background price.
Then, Quantity Tier Price = (Background Price) – (35% x Background Price)
=$4 – (35% x $4)
= $4 – $1.4
= $2.6
Now, Decoration price = Quantity Tier Price x Order Quantity
= $2.6 x 75
= $195
The price will be shown to the customer:
Product Price + Decoration Price
= ($19 x Order Quantity) + $195
= ($19 x 75) + $195
= $1425 + $195
= $1620
So, the final price of the product will be $1620.
Hypothetical Question 2:
For an order placed for 120 T-Shirts priced at $19 each, with both sides of the product is customized. On the first side, one background is added, and on the second side, another background is added. So what will be the final price of the product?
Answer:
Order Quantity = 120
Number of customized sides =2
Total number of backgrounds added = 2
Price of first background = $6
Price of the second background = $3
► For the background which is added on the first side, the calculation will be done from the tab 1st Print area, and for the background which is added on the second side, the calculation will be from the tab 2nd Print area.
Calculation for 1st Print Area
Background Price for first side = $6
As the background is added on the first side so the calculation will be done from the 1st Print area tab.
Then, the quantity of product is 120. So it will take the percentage value from the quantity range 81-120. i.e., 45%
Now, the percentage value that we get from the quantity range will be calculated over the background price. Then,
Quantity Tier Price for 1st Print area
= (Background Price for first side) – (45% x Background Price for first side)
= $6 – (45% x $6)
= $6 – $2.7
= $3.30
Calculation for 2nd Print area
Background Price for the second side = $3
As the background is added on the second side so the calculation will be done from the 2nd Print area tab.
Then, the quantity of product is 120. So it will take the percentage value from the quantity range 81-120. i.e., 50%
Now, the percentage that we get from the quantity range will be calculated over the background price. Then,
Quantity Tier Price for 2nd print area
= (Background Price for second side) – (50% x Background Price for second side)
= $3 – (50% x $3)
= $3 – $1.5
= $1.5
Now, we will add both the Quantity Tier Price, which we get from the 1st Print area, and the 2nd Print area
So, Quantity Tier Price = 1st Print Area + 2nd Print area
= $3.30 + $1.5
=$4.80
Decoration price=Quantity Tier Price x Order Quantity
= $4.80 x 120
= $576
The price will be shown to the customer:
Product Price + Decoration Price
= ($19 x Order Quantity) + $576
= ($19 x 120) + $576
= $2280 + $576
= $2856
So, the final price of the product will be $2856
