Steps to Add a Product Category in WooCommerce
1. Log in to your WooCommerce Admin.
2. From the left toolbar, hover over Products and click “Categories”
3. Under Add New Category, fill in the required details to create a new category:
- Enter the Category Name in the name text box.
- Slug and Description are optional.
- Do not change anything in the Parent dropdown (if you are creating a main category).
- Display Type is set to default for the category.
- Click “Add New Category.”
You have successfully created a product category in WooCommerce!
